The Viking cross axe “VISBY” is a reproduction of an unusual axe form based on an archaeological find from the Swedish island of Gotland. Its most distinctive feature is the cross-shaped opening in the axe head. The head is made from EN45 spring steel, has a blunt edge and is secured to the wooden haft with rivets.
