Herringbone Rectangular Wool Cloak – Medieval Garment
This rectangular wool cloak is made from 100% wool in traditional herringbone weave. The simple rectangular shape reflects early and high medieval textile forms and makes it suitable for Viking and medieval portrayals.
With a fabric weight of 400 gsm, the dense wool provides reliable protection against wind and cold. The cloak can be draped over the shoulder and secured with a brooch or worn in various practical ways while maintaining freedom of movement.
Measuring approximately 140 x 170 cm, the wool cloth can also be used as a warm blanket in camp. In everyday use, it functions as a large scarf or throw. The fringed edges emphasize the traditional character of the fabric.
