Hand-Forged Viking Axe Type G
The axe was one of the most important tools and weapons of the Viking Age. It was used for shipbuilding, woodworking, house construction and combat. Due to its simple production and versatile functionality, it became a common weapon among Norse warriors.
This hand-forged Viking axe is inspired by the historical Petersen Type G. The axe head is crafted from durable carbon steel and features a rustic forged finish that enhances its authentic early medieval appearance.
The ash wood shaft provides balanced handling and complements the axe’s classic shape. Its more compact design makes it especially versatile as a reenactment prop, decorative display piece or addition to historical outfits.
This Viking axe is ideal for reenactment, LARP, medieval events or as a collector’s item. Thanks to its solid construction, it can also be individually modified or refined if desired.
