Othala Viking Bearded Axe Set by Windlass

This finely crafted collector’s set by Windlass combines a Viking-inspired bearded axe, a hand-forged mini skinning knife, and a decorative wooden presentation box. The axe handle is engraved with the Othala rune from the Elder Futhark, historically associated with heritage and ancestral land.

The Axe

The narrow axe head is inspired by historical Viking bearded axes. Forged from 1075 carbon steel, it serves as a decorative collector’s piece or prop.

The dark-stained handle is made of American hickory wood. A carved groove runs along most of its length, accented by brass studs. The leather grip features an aged finish. A leather blade cover is included.

The Knife

The mini skinning knife features a rough forged finish and a distinctive ring handle with decorative end detail. It includes a leather sheath with a long strap for versatile carry options.

The Box

The wooden storage box is engraved with knotwork and Nordic dragons. The interior base is lined with black velvet. Two leather straps secure the axe in place, while antique-finished brass hinges and latches complete the presentation.
